Cancer and Occupatinal Exposure Limits: a SCANDAL

 Adoption of  new occupational exposure limits is the finding of an investigation published on 24 February in the French newspaper Le Monde.

Stéphane Horel , a French journalist known for her investigations over the European Institutions, found that some members of the Scientific Committee on Occupational Exposure Limit values (SCOEL) have close ties to companies (15 of the 22 members) !

The problem is the credibility of the Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs) proposed by the European Commission. Perhaps workers believe that they are preotected, but in practice such OELs are dangerous for human health !
