The whole nation has been shocked by the death and injury in Manchester last night of so many people, adults and children, who had just been enjoying a concert.

I know I speak for everyone in expressing my deepest sympathy to all who have been affected by this dreadful event and especially to the families and friends of those who have died or were injured.

I want to thank all the members of the emergency services, who have responded with such professionalism and care.

And I would like to express my admiration for the way the people of Manchester have responded, with humanity and compassion, to this act of barbarity.

L’intera nazione è sotto shock per la morte e le ferite di così tante persone , adulti e giovani mentre si divertivano ad un concerto, avvenuta la scorsa notte a Manchester.

So di parlare a nome di tutti nell’esprimere la mia più profonda compassione verso tutti coloro che sono stati colpiti da quest’evento orribile e soprattutto verso le famiglie e gli amici di coloro che sono morti o che sono stati feriti.

Voglio ringraziare tutti i membri dei servizi di sicurezza che hanno reagito con tale professionalità e premura.

E vorrei esprimere la mia ammirazione per il modo in cui ha reagito la gente di Manchester , con umanità e compassione a questo atto di barbarie.
